StarCraft Invaders was my final project for an Interactive Digital Media class I took at RIT.  It is a simple shooter game made in Macromedia Shockwave with art and sound effects derived from the PC game, StarCraft.

After a full two weeks of extracting sounds, images, and non-stop coding, I finally created a real interactive game.  It wasn't easy though.  The coding was difficult, at least in my case, as it involved hit-miss variables.  Image extraction not only involved taking screenshots of static gameplay, but unit movement as well.  For example, when the player moves the soldier left and right, different animations were used to simulate that activity.

All in all, the project got a B+ due to some bugs and the difficult nature of the game.  Test it out and see for yourself.
